The final day of company visits is upon us, and we are bringing it full circle with visiting a sister company of Bruno, Braun Ability, formally Autoadapt. The location for Braun is in a town called Stenkullen. Which is about 30 kilometers from the Slottskogen hostel that we are staying at. So the folks at Braun we’re extremely generous and sent a coach bus to pick us up and drop us off. It was super fun to ride in style for the last day, and it would be a missed opportunity to not take a photo of us riding in style.

Braun Ability focuses in on producing products with the mission “To help as many people as possible live a more independent life, by enabling them to drive or ride in a vehicle safely all over the world”. By being a full service manufacturer of their products they can have control over every aspect of production.

Hasse Slungare is an engineer at Braun and he was able to teach us a bit about the engineering that goes into R&D. One big takeaway was how Braun has discovered a patented design that actually angles the seat back by 4 degrees and keeps the driver much safer in an accident by allowing the seat to take more of the force as opposed to the force being placed on the seatbelt. He also explained that the degree tilt is a bit of a parabola. Where 4 degrees is the peak safety and if it goes up or down one degree it changes the whole dynamic of the safety within a crash.

To end the day at Braun, Anna-Karin and Sara (HR Specialists) gave us an outstanding presentation and activity on the mission, values, and goals of at Braun. These ideals are fundamental to the identity and passion that comes with working at Braun.
Next we moved on to our last company visit with Remente. It is a productivity app that democratize mental well-being. David, the creator and CEO created the app to focus on prevention of mental health issues rather than the reactionary help that the healthcare option provides.

Quick Facts
- Over 60% of users are female
- 6000+ featured articles
- 1.6 Million downloads
- +1000 users per day
David gave a piece of advice that really stuck with me when he was talking about how to make sure that your lifestyle is supporting what the brain is designed to do.
Remember that you do have a brain, and you need to work your brain just like a muscle and also give it the proper rest that it needs. -David Brudö
It is an exciting time for Remente. They are the number 1 searched app in the “Self Improvement” category on the app store, they have applications for B2C, B2B, and are developing applications for the B2G market. Something that would benefit society by allowing integration into schools and healthcare systems.
We had an open dinner, so tonight I tried to keep an open mind and I joined some friends at an all vegan restaurant. I just got an order of fries because I wasn’t too hungry, but all the food their looked delicious and everyone gave good reviews! After dinner Peyton and I rallied over to Avenye to work on blogs and grab some coffee. We went to the real TinTin location, which is open 24 hours, and got to work!
